    Erwin has great interest in organizing and structuring teams and medium size organizations, to come from a vision to the execution of strategies. He enjoys developing and improving organizations and structures and to turn these into smooth-running operations with motivated teams that have a goal-oriented attitude and a drive for continuous improvement. Experienced entrepreneur passionate about introducing (digital) innovations in the healthcare sector. Over the years he has developed a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders, Venture Capitalists and Suppliers active in the medical devices and pharma field. Experience with both EU and US regulatory systems.
    Furthermore, Erwin has commercial experience in customer acquisition, retention and business development. As CEO of a venture capital funded company he was responsible for attracting and closing of financing and of course in setting up, managing and executing due diligence processes.

    Erwin has a broad experience in various sectors in the healthcare sector, ranging from B2B to B2C in both commercial and not-for-profit roles.

    Erwin de Buijzer MD MBA

    After having worked in surgery and intensive care for a number of years, Erwin decided to focuson combining his interest
    in innovation and digitalization and his medical background. Subsequently, he broadend his horizon with an executive MBA
    at a globally recognized school. This step enabled him to develop his career in commercial organizations in pharma and
    medical nutrition.

    In 2012 Erwin moved to Berlin to help a highly innovative liver diagnostic startup to bring the academic concept to
    commercially viable product. This company, Humedics GmbH, enabled him to bring his experience and interests together
    since it combined an unmet medical need, a medical device and a pharmaceutical diagnostic drug. Erwin developed the
    strategy, the razor/razorblade business model and was able to gain the interest of large multinationals.
